Prof. Dr. M. Weber worked as Senior Consultant and later Vice-Director of the Orthopedic Department of the University Hospital of RWTH in Aachen, Germany.
He was made Director of the Department for Limb Lengthening and Limb Reconstruction of the University Hospital of RWTH in Aachen, Germany. In one year time he created the biggest center for Limb Lengthening and Limb Reconstruction in Germany. He is Professor of Orthopedics and Faculty Member of the University of RWTH in Aachen, Germany
Prof. Dr. M. Weber has been working previously as Director of the Center for Limb Lengthening and Limb Reconstruction, Pediatric Orthopedic, Foot Surgery and Technical Orthopedics in the American Hospital Dubai. In the last two years Professor Weber became very famous with his exceptional work and meanwhile a huge number of patients are visiting him for treatment from whole Middle East Countries and Europe.
On the clinical field Prof. Dr. Michael Weber did more than 8000 surgeries in Orthopedics and Trauma. He did more than 2600 surgeries in Limb Reconstruction and Limb Lengthening.
On the Scientific Field of Orthopedics and Trauma Prof. Weber published over 130 papers, 5 books and scripts, presented nationally and internationally over 530 lectures and was appointed chairman and moderator in more than 330 national and international congresses. He organized 80 Symposia and Congresses.
Prof. Dr. Weber was awarded and honored nationally and internationally 26 times for his work on Limb Lengthening and Limb Reconstruction as well as in Pediatric Orthopedics.
In appreciation for his clinical and scientific work Prof. Dr. Weber was elected twice as President and is still Honorary President of the A.S.A.M.I. (Scientific Society working on Limb Lengthening and Limb Reconstruction) Germany. He is member of the A.S.A.M.I. International.
He is President of the German-Arabian-Medical-Society (Germany e.v.). He is scientific counselor of several clinical and scientific organizations as well as consultant and member for 6 different scientific papers. He is a member of 9 national and international Scientific Societies.
